The Development Committee is seeking organizations, companies, agencies, universities, and foundations who have an interest in reaching members of the major epidemiologic organizations in the Western Hemisphere, in June 2016.  This Congress of the Americas’ theme is “Making a Difference across Populations”. The Congress will feature speakers from South, Central, North America and the Caribbean, and will address emerging issues which including etiologic, methodologic, and especially applied epidemiology. The Congress will have plenary sessions and symposia by leaders in the field, and include spotlight and poster sessions. Awards will also be presented for outstanding contributions in Epidemiology.

With an expected attendance of more than 1700 participants, this is an opportunity that will not occur again until 2021.  Therefore, support of the Congress, through sponsorship, provides a venue to meet current and future influential leaders in epidemiology, at one time and place. This is the opportunity for organizations, agencies, and foundations to help the current and emerging epidemiologists deal with the global challenges of more urbanization, healthy aging, climate change, scarcities of food and water, changes in policy, systems, and finances integral to public health, emerging diseases and threats, and major advances in technology.
